We accept individuals and families.
Homefront Horsemanship serves veterans, first responders, and their families—whether you’re coming on your own or showing up together.
Individuals are welcome.
Families are welcome.
If participating as a family, the service member or first responder (sponsor) must be present and actively engaged.
This work is built on connection—and that starts with showing up.
This isn’t a drop-in program.
Homefront Horsemanship is built for veterans, first responders, and their families carrying the weight of service.
This work is hands-on, relationship-based, and intentionally small.
If a family participates, the service member or first responder (sponsor) must be present and actively engaged.
This is not childcare. This is shared work—built on connection, accountability, and showing up together.
Because of that, we use an application process to ensure the right fit for both our participants and our program.
Who This Is For
This program is for veterans, first responders, and their families who are ready to show up and engage.
It’s for those willing to step into something different—where connection, accountability, and participation matter.
If you’re looking for something to observe from the sidelines or drop into casually, this won’t be the right fit.
What to Expect
Our work is hands-on and grounded in horsemanship.
Sessions may include groundwork, riding (when appropriate), and working alongside others in a small group setting.
You don’t need prior experience—but you do need to be willing to participate.
Progress here is earned. Confidence is built. Nothing is handed to you.
Family Participation
When families participate, they do it together.
The service member or first responder (sponsor) must be present and actively engaged.
This is not a drop-off program. This is shared work—where connection is built through doing, not watching.
Why an Application
We keep this program intentionally small so we can do this work the right way.
The application process allows us to ensure alignment, protect the environment we’ve built, and prioritize those who are ready to engage.
Not everyone will be placed immediately—and that’s by design.
What Happens Next
Once you submit your application:
• Our team reviews it for fit and availability
• If aligned, we’ll reach out with next steps and scheduling access
• If we’re at capacity, we may offer a waitlist or invite you to a Family Day
We do our best to respond in a timely manner and appreciate your patience as we prioritize active participants.
Participation Expectations
Showing up matters here.
We ask participants to be on time, present, and engaged.
Consistency and effort are what make this program work—for you, your family, and everyone involved.
